Unlocked Chat

Unlocked Chat is a team-wide channel for everyone in your agency org. Single channel, no DMs, no extra channels — minimal scope, maximal use.

Where to find it

Sidebar → Unlocked Chat, OR direct: agency.gary.club/dashboard/chat. Mobile sidebar collapses Chat into the bottom nav.

Features

• Single channel: team:agency-general — every active owner + admin in your org is auto-provisioned at signup.
• Markdown + reactions — bold, italic, code, links, code blocks; emoji reactions.
• @mentions with notification (works for any name, including emoji-suffixed names).
• Message search — ⌘K from anywhere in the dashboard.
• Pinned messages — admins can pin for 24h or permanently.
• Push fan-out — web push notifications when you''re mentioned (you''ll be prompted on first significant interaction).
• Gold-star moderator — gary@gary.club shows with a gold star; community-defined founder roles can be added.

Admin overview

Admin users get an extra view at /admin/chat showing per-org membership, message counts, and moderation actions.

Scope is locked

By design Unlocked Chat does NOT support DMs, additional channels, threads, calling, or drafts. The single-channel constraint keeps the noise floor low. Future polish lands inside the existing channel.
