Gmail sync-inbound
Every email reply to a connected Gmail account lands in the right contact's timeline. Unknown senders auto-create a CRM contact.

Once a Gmail account is connected (Settings → Connectors → Gmail), every inbound message gets matched to a contact and dropped into the CRM:
- Match by email — if the sender''s email matches an existing CRM contact, the email is logged as an activity on that contact.
- Auto-create — if no match exists, we create a contact with
source = gmail_inbound_auto, populating first/last name from the From header. - Threading — replies in an existing Gmail thread chain back to the same conversation in the CRM inbox.
Caveats
- Only your connected Gmail accounts. Each agency user can connect their own.
- We don''t process emails older than the connection date — only forward-going.
- Want backfill? Use Sync historical emails from the connector page; it enumerates the last 90 days.
