Move an NFT into your Gary Club wallet

You can hold Gary Club NFTs in two different places, and some features only work with one of them. This page explains the difference and how to move things between them.

Your two wallets

• Your Gary Club wallet — created for you when you joined. Gary Club holds the key, which is what lets the site sign transactions on your behalf: minting, in-app trades and game payouts.
• A connected wallet — Phantom, Solflare or similar. You hold the key. Gary Club can see what's in it for holder perks and roles, but can never sign anything with it.

Both count toward your Giraffe holder status and your roles. The difference only matters for actions the site performs for you.

Which features need the Gary Club wallet

Anything where Gary Club signs a transaction on your behalf:

• Burning a MAGA Giraffe for Proof of Burn credits
• Minting a Giraffish Moment
• Buying or selling on the Gary Club marketplace
• Delegating a Giraffe to the pool

If an NFT you own is sitting in Phantom, those actions can't touch it — not because of a restriction, but because Gary Club genuinely cannot sign for a key it doesn't have. Move it across first.

Bring assets in (the fast way)

If you have more than one or two things to move, don't send them one at a time. The Wallet page can sweep a whole batch across in a single approval.

1. Go to your Wallet page and click Bring assets in.
2. Connect the wallet holding your assets. This is a normal wallet connection — you approve everything, and the only possible destination is your own Gary Club wallet. There is no address to type.
3. Tick what you want to move. NFTs are grouped by collection, so Select all takes the whole set at once. You can add tokens and SOL in the same batch.
4. Click Transfer, then approve once in your wallet. Larger batches are split across several transactions behind the scenes, but most wallets ask you to approve them together.
5. You'll see each transaction confirm, and your balances refresh automatically.

Anything that can't be moved is listed separately with the reason, so nothing disappears quietly. Compressed NFTs get their own section, since a wallet that's been around a while usually holds a few hundred airdropped ones and they'd bury everything else.

Moving a single NFT by hand

For a one-off, sending directly from your wallet works just as well:

1. Copy your Gary Club wallet address from the top of your Wallet page. Use the copy button rather than retyping it.
2. Open Phantom (or whichever wallet holds the NFT) and find the NFT in your collectibles.
3. Choose Send, and paste your Gary Club wallet address as the destination.
4. Confirm. It usually lands in a few seconds.
5. Refresh your Wallet page — the NFT should now appear there.

What it costs

Two things make up the cost, and for NFTs the second one is much larger than the first:

• The network fee — a fraction of a cent per transaction.
• Account rent — every NFT arriving needs a small account created for it in the receiving wallet. For Giraffe Tower and MAGA Giraffe, which are programmable NFTs, that is about 0.0035 SOL each. Moving 23 of them costs roughly 0.08 SOL.

This is Solana's cost, not a Gary Club fee, and it is the same whether you use the batch tool or send by hand. When you use Bring assets in, we price the whole batch before you approve anything. If the sending wallet is low on SOL, your Gary Club wallet automatically covers the cost instead, so a wallet full of NFTs and light on SOL isn't a dead end. If neither wallet can cover it, we tell you how much to add rather than letting the batch fail halfway.

Things worth knowing

• Listed NFTs can't be sent. If it's listed for sale on a marketplace, delist it first — while it's listed it sits in the marketplace's escrow, not your wallet.
• Delegated or staked NFTs can't be sent until you undelegate them.
• Compressed NFTs move one at a time. They carry a proof of where they sit in a large shared tree, and that proof fills a whole transaction on its own, so they're capped at 10 per batch and listed in their own section. A few sit on trees that make them too large to move at all; if you pick one of those we'll name it and say why.
• It doesn't change your holder status. Both wallets count, so moving an NFT in or out never affects your Giraffe role or perks.
• Sending by hand? Check the address. Make sure you pasted your Gary Club wallet address and not something else from your clipboard. The batch tool removes this risk entirely.
• You can move things back out any time from your Wallet page using Send.

If it doesn't show up

Give it a minute and refresh — the site re-reads the chain on a short cycle. If it still hasn't appeared after a few minutes, check the transaction went through in your sending wallet's activity, then open a support ticket with the transaction signature and we'll track it down.
