Own, rent, get delegated, or hold your way into Gary Club — and monthly vs lifetime membership explained.
Membership is simple: hold a Giraffe, and you're in. But there are four different on-ramps to get there, so you can join the way that fits you. Here they are. 🦒

| Own | Going all-in, long term | Buy a Giraffe outright. It's yours forever — full access, and you can later earn from it by pooling or gift its access by delegating. |
| Get delegated | Joining via a friend or owner | An owner assigns their Giraffe's access to you. You get the full membership; they keep ownership on-chain. |
| Hold $GARY | Token-first members | Holding the $GARY threshold also qualifies you for member access and unlocks conviction badges like GC100. |
All four lead to the same place: full member access — chat, the Herd, the games, events, and perks. One membership, one allocation of benefits, however you got in.
Monthly vs. lifetime — which is right for you?
- Monthly (rent the pool) is the easy front door. No NFT to buy, no wallet juggling — subscribe and you're a full member while it's active. Perfect if you want to try the club and grow into it.
- Lifetime (own a Giraffe) is the commitment play. You own the key forever, you can earn from it by pooling it for renters, and you can gift access to others. It's the move once you know this is home.
Curious how pooling works? When you own a Giraffe and deposit it in the Licensing Pool, a monthly member can rent it — and you earn a share of that rent in $GARY. It's covered in the glossary; the full mechanics live in your dashboard's Delegation area.
